Intro:
While we progress in the medical field, we now have things that we would have not even imagined 50 years ago. For example, AI being used in diagnosing, genetic engineering, and as of recently surgical machines.
Different types:
Many doctors in hospitals during the past year have been using these different machines to treat patients. These machines are used during operations to aid the doctor and provide a steady control and better precision.

Some machines are made to project photos of the patient's exact anatomy to help guide the doctor during certain surgeries and other machines fit themselves through miniature cuts to provide a clear view of the injury.
Disadvantages:
While these machines may seem like they have almost no faults, there are some disadvantages that have been noticed.
One particular downside is high cost. Not only are these systems expensive to buy, maintaining them is also expensive which raises the total price of the operation.
Another drawback is, most doctors are not used to these systems at all. It requires a lot of practice for them to get used to them and master the basics.
The future / new developments made:
While these inventions are new, there is always more to be improved and luckily there are many new developments being made as we speak.
Engineers and doctors are working together to make the future for patients even more exciting and introducing things we have never yet seen before.
For example, drug delivery devices to transport medicine to specific cells and bloodstream microbots designed to swim through your blood vessels to deliver targeted treatments like chemotherapy.
Conclusion:
The medical field is not only progressing well, it’s making hospitals safer, patients happier and systems smoother.
While there are many disadvantages, they will eventually disappear as we gradually help the world of medicine progress alongside robots.
